Hello all. Just genuinely curious about some of your experiences with non-hormonal birth control pills? Are they just as safe and effective as hormonal?

My girlfriend and I have been getting more sexually active lately, and because of some cholesterol problems, her doctor is changing her hormonal BC to a Non-hormonal version. And while we occasionally go without a condom if I plan to pull out, I'm cautious about the change to everything.

Is there anything to expect/watch out for with this change? Should I start going with full protection, or is it still safe for accidents or if some falls down there?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. 🙏🏻
