First pregnancy rollercoaster

Hello all here’s my emotional rollercoaster! I recently found out I was pregnant with several at home test this was on May 6th. I do have PCOS so this is my first pregnancy after being with my husband for almost 7 years.

On May 9th I woke up at 5AM due to a nightmare of me losing the baby- I went to the bathroom and realized I was bleeding very heavily. I took another clearblue digital test that showed “ pregnant” still but the bleeding never lightened. I then woke up my husband and he drove me to the ER.

The ER took a urine sample and the test reflected “ negative” but I told them all of my at home tests were all positive. All my strip tests, every clearblue digital, every first response- all positive.

They ordered bloodwork and said they’d like to order an ultrasound. Hours later a different dr brought me into a room and told me “ I have cancelled your ultrasound. I’m sorry but your blood HCG is only at 27.3, at this stage of pregnancy we would like to see you around 50 or higher. I believe you are having a miscarriage. It is required that you come back in 48 hours to have your betas retested.”

I was devastated. I spent the entire weekend passing heavy clots, bleeding heavily while urinating and I did have a lot of un comfort in my lower stomach/legs.

I finally went back to the ER yesterday May 11. They redone everything they did the first time because it was an entire new staff who was not aware of my chart. Hours later a dr came back and told me my blood had doubled, I am now at 57.6, I am to be on pelvic rest until the bleeding stops, take prenatals, etc ( I was already doing all of this the moment I found out I was pregnant.)

The dr basically believes due to PCOS I may not be as far along as I should be based off my last period.

I actually stopped bleeding on 05/11 and it felt like everything was finally coming together.

Today, a few hours after waking up I started spotting again. I don’t understand why the bleeding is still occurring and it is worrying me so bad.. I have a blood test scheduled for next Monday and an ultrasound scheduled for the 26th. But I just want to know, has anyone experienced this? This is my first pregnancy and it is honestly the scariest thing I’ve ever been through, everything feels so up and down right now and I feel like I’m scared to be happy..

Also- I currently do not have health insurance. My new plan does not go into effect until June 1st so most of my appointments are out of pocket.
