Walkaway Split Question Watertown, NY

Without inspecting the hive, how much time needs to pass before you know a walkaway split worker (ie, bees are coming and going with full pollen sacs)?

My spouse said a month, I said at least two. Help us solve the debate. We always inspected when we split.

Are there any subs for rabbit recipes? Not the kind for special gourmet recipes for a single rabbit but homestyle cooking for those that raise meat rabbits. Like people that are dispatching twenty rabbits at a time. Canning is good, I can make a good rabbit and dumplings a few times over the winter months, but what else? I can make rabbit salad for sandwiches, Rabbit Pad Thai is awesome, mixed with ground pork for breakfast sausages is good.. I need more ideas for everyday stuff. Meat rabbits aren't common fare in the US and friends give me a hard cringe when I tell them my cute little darlings are meat rabbits. X-)
