Compact/Pocketable Camera for a beginner and mindful photography

I stumbled across this subreddit and thought you guys/girls would be the best adress to ask for my specific need.

I want to reduce the amount of unmindful photos taken with my smartphone. I am moving to a new city and I want to take that opportunity to some photos for my family while exploring the city. Later, when my wife and child are joining me, the camera should be carried easily that I can collect valuable moments with my family.

I therefore want to get into photography as a mindful replacement for a smartphone. My requirements for a camera are not that high. I want to make some good looking images, and camera (+lens) should be easy to carry in my bag as an everyday object. I would be grateful to get some inspirations!

Budget:200€ (max 300)

Country: Germany/Sweden

Condition:used

Type of Camera: mirror less or Point and shoot (as a newby I don't really know how much this would differ for me)

Intended use: only photography

If photography; what style: everyday pictures of streets, landscapes, people

If video what style: /

What features do you absolutely need: compact size

Portability: pocketable

Cameras you're considering:

I was reading something about Sony RX100, but this would be the upper end of my price range.

Olympus Pen E-PL3 looks like making good pictures , but I am worried that this will be to big for me with the mounted lens. Same with Sony NEX systems.

Olympus stylus XZ-1/2

Cameras you already have:old Fujifilm digicam. Making photos is fun but the quality is really bad
