So back in the day, I understood the game pretty simply: big = powerful, big missile = big damage. Now I have absolutely no clue how anything works.

I got into a match and was just chilling behind a rock with my teammates when SOMEHOW some guy started shooting me through or from behind the rocks and slowly killing me. And it wasn’t even a submarine — it was some Pan Spatial Swordfish thingy? I genuinely have no idea what that was.

Second game, I got hit by one missile and instantly lost like a third of my HP.

Third match, a whole group of planes suddenly appeared and launched missiles at me. I flared, and it did absolutely nothing. Next thing I knew, over two-thirds of my ship’s health was gone.

And now I’m completely lost when it comes to equipment too. I swear I saw someone using a blue laser cannon?

I haven’t played this game in a long time, so can someone please explain what the current META is? What’s actually strong right now, and more importantly, what’s fun to use?

• What is the KM-X1 “Revenant”?
It’s a ground-effect craft that rides on a cushion of air trapped under its wings, letting it glide just above the sea at high speed while staying low and stable.

• What was the hardest part?
Getting the proportions and symmetry right at this scale while keeping everything clean and believable.

• favourite part of the build?
The overall shape and how the wings and hull line up—it really sells that “skimming the ocean” look.

• Inspiration behind the name?
“Revenant” means something that returns, fitting a revival of a forgotten class like ekranoplans.
