I’m a bedside RN and I have my final interview with Philips Healthcare next week for a clinical specialist position for their patient monitoring (the intellivue). Can anyone give me insight on the role? All I know is the security of bedside but I just can’t do it anymore. I’m finishing my second Master’s and want to take my career in a different direction. Any tips or insight would be appreciated! Thanks!

I live in NJ and work as a nurse.
I got attacked by a patient at work and missed 3 shifts (8 days total) I was supposed to be on light duty but was told not to come in because there was no jobs available for me to do. They put me down for ESL those days (my extended sick leave). I’m cleared to go back to work tomorrow full duty. However I was told today I have to file for workers comp since I was out for 8 days. But I was told to! I wanted to come back! I guess my big question is, will I not get my full paycheck now next Friday? Today is Friday but not a payday and I get paid every two weeks. Appreciate any clarification.

I was told by the case manager that I can sign up for direct deposit for my workers comp through Gallagher Bassett but idk how long it will take to process and I’m stressing out about my pay. Any help appreciated!

Why do things change so much at this campus? I want to take the same professor twice and they aren’t here anymore, or the grading changes and we’re just supposed to know on our own? I’m toward the end of the program and I cannot wait to be done. The changes give me more anxiety than the actual content!
