Hii everyone, ethical yapper this side. Need a bit of help
So, I have made this bookstagram page to share my opinions and also give others a space to voice theirs. The goal isn't just to call out problematic content, but also to appreciate and promote genuinely good books.
I saw some comments below asking, why not big authors? And I just wanted to clarify something. I haven't been on bookstagram for that long to know their activities, I made a reel about those who came on my feed first and I had already made a reel about bigger authors once, which ended up getting my account reported and suspended. I am planning to talk about bigger creators too but I just didn't want to start there immediately.
Please keep sending names who write problematic content, harmful tropes, or anything concerning, preferably through DMs if possible. We're genuinely trying our best to hold authors accountable while also encouraging healthier and more creative content in the community.
And regarding following the authors, we do not blindly support anyone. We treat every author equally. If we happen to follow someone who later turns out to have done something problematic, that obviously doesn't mean we support it. We'll call it out too.
