hello ifl the last post i saw about this was from 2 years ago so i wanted to ask again. preferrably a pj or double humbucker bass, budget's around 500 dollars.

currently considering the yamaha trbx505/605 because it can switch between passive and active. it and the ibanez sr's are okay, but i wanted to ask if anyone knows any purely passive basses. looking for a passive bass because i don't really have any need for a preamp and think that replacing batteries over time could acrue too much expense.

insights and recommendations are much appreciated!
