Trying to find (not cheap) IEMs for symphonic and prog metal

I'm new to IEMs for listening (based in the UK). I'm currently using my old pair of wired Bose Ultra something-or-others and they're too muddy for my liking and the cable noise is excessive, so I'm looking for something better.

I'm using them with a portable Sony CD player, and an iPod Classic 7 and iPod Nano 6.

I've tried some of the lower end Linsouls, and just now the Moondrop Chus, and they're all treble and very little depth/bass/lower-mid. I appreciate the clarity and the separation (and low cable noise), but I want to really hear the lower mid and bottom end when listening to something like In Flames, or Dream Theater. Is it possible to get what I want without resorting to cans?

I also listen to a lot of orchestral music and opera but that's a secondary consideration as I usually only listen to that at home and my speakers are ludicrous.

I don't really have a budget (I may regret saying this), but let's say to aim at below £300 (GBP) as a start? but I'm open to higher numbers if I can't get what I want for less (though I hope and expect I can).

Thanks all !
