Hi everyone, I’m currently looking for one-room/officetel housing in Seoul and I found a listing near Nonhyeon/Hakdong area that says something like “80/60” (deposit/rent).
I’m confused about how to read the deposit amount. Does “80” mean:
800,000 KRW deposit?
or
8 million KRW deposit?
Also, if it really is only 800k KRW deposit, why is it so cheap for a place in Nonhyeon/Gangnam? The room looks like a decent officetel/loft and the monthly rent is around 600k KRW.
