I am debating doing the write on and wanted to get people opinions. I’m at a lower level, regional law school with end goals of being in house counsel for a sports team one day. I already have a summer law clerk role with a firm. I really don’t want to be a part of law review but I am doing it right now because I feel like it’s some big miss if I don’t. Is this an accurate assessment?
I am currently prepping for my exams and I am continuing to face the issue of being a horrible legal writer and an especially bad legal writer for timed exams. Does anyone have any tips for how to approach this past “use CREAC or IRAC”. Every time I write I get incredibly lost in the weeds it seems I usually don’t have an issue coming to the correct conclusion or issue spotting but am very bad an explaining myself in a way for the teachers to enjoy.
Last semester and this semester I wrote as if I was giving legal advise to someone who had never done anything in law, but I feel like tha just leaves me explaining every little thing. Any help at all is appreciated!!!
