Sharp pain randomly when eating after fillings?

Hello All! 31y f - drinks occasionally, no smoking.

I had 7 fillings done on my right side about 6 days ago. At the time, I told the doctor that one tooth in particular felt like it was hitting my lower teeth before any others and he adjusted it a few times, had me bite down on something and said things looked fine. He advised me to call back in once the anesthesia wore off and that it could just take some time to get used to.
Afterwards, I just had some jaw soreness and sensitivity that diminished within a few days but now I'm getting a sharp pain randomly when eating. It seems to be in the same tooth that felt off initially? It's very random and only lasts for a very brief second then goes away immediately. Last night there was some sensitivity when drinking cold water but nothing this morning when drinking cold water.
I've read some things online stating that I may need a root canal and that terrifies me. I have some dental trauma from childhood that causes me to have severe anxiety surrounding dental work so I'm freaking out a bit. I read it could also just need an adjustment or a new filling? How likely is it that I'll need that over a root canal? Thank you!

Edit to add more information : When flossing, I'm also experiencing the same pain
