What are some automations i can build for my job as a implementation specialist?

Right now I have to do a lot of manual work like emailing, checking things, setting reminders, etc.

Looking to see what can be automated so im not running around like a headless chicken while working on 10 projects AT ONCE

I never used sf and the company i joined uses it. Im a pm and they dont use any other pm tool so instead of getting buy in from leadership to use a pm tool I was wondering if I can try to leverage sf as a pm tool (I know sf is a crm).

Is sf difficult to use as a pm tool? My team is under the sales department so leadership wants insight on our progress but from what I saw its not set up ideally for a pm to use.

I also heard we have a sf admin team to set things up but theyre backlogged. Should I try to implement things myself or would it be too much work for me to figure out? I also have other projects I got assigned off the bat. I joined the company a month ago

Im in a team of 5. We're all project managers and we use sf as our main reporting tool for leadership. We had a team meeting and our manager said she needs a better way of knowing the status of each of our projects cause some of us aren't giving good high level updates each week. She just wants a snapshot of the status of the project like if are we on track, any risks, blockers, what we plan on doing about the blocker, etc. She suggested we do all of this on a spreadsheet as a team.. but there has to be a way to generate this report in sf right??

I was unemployed for 1.5 years and I finally got a new job. Its hybrid 2x a week. The issue is my commute 1 way is 2hrs long and the cost of my commute. I have to commute to the city and i live in the suburbs but i was desperate to get a job so I took it.

I talked to my manager day 1 and they said once a week is fine and that was ok with me cause at least that'll be 4hrs total for my commute each week. Ive been going once a week for a few months now but today They sent a company email saying the company is going to enforce the 2x a week in office. Im stressing out cause thats going to be 8hrs total commute (basically half my time will be commuting) and the train ticket isnt cheap. I also took a pay cut, well im not making as much from my last job. I know what I signed up for but I had a sense of relief since my manager told me 1x a week was fine...

Wondering if I should start looking for a new job? Should I stick it out for a couple of months, get experience and then start looking?
