Hello. I live in the UK and have an appointment next month to see a surgeon (Colorectal & Lower GI
Surgery appointment). I had incision & drainage in October 2025 and since then I’ve had constant flare ups, so I demanded my GP refer me for surgery.
I’m not sure what the best treatment/surgery would be. I see a lot about cleft lift (think that’s right) but I’m not sure that’s offered in the UK. Not possible at all for me to go private.

My question is, what’s the best treatment for Pilonidal disease in the UK that the NHS offers?

I know there’s no cure and I know a sinus can come back even after being removed. At this point, I’m willing to try anything for relief.
