I've just been diagnosed with HPV. I'm going for a re-test soon by the Dr and maybe I'll find out which strain (I did the at-home cervical screening test and they've recommended a re-test). So far I know it's not strain 16 or 18 and haven't had any symptoms like warts, so it's not one that's causing me lots of stress health-wise.

It's still stressing me though because I'd broken up with my bf and am back on the dating scene (looking for a long term partner). So the timing is not stellar. I'm at the talking stage with a couple of people I'm interested in. I definitely want to disclose if it gets to that stage with someone. I'm wondering how people have navigated these discussions with new partners and how it's gone - I am pretty nervous.
