My 10-year-old hates school. I have been seriously thinking about homeschooling him for quite some time, but he has such a short attention span that even helping him with homework is frustrating at times.
However, I don't think public school is a good fit for him, and I am willing to try homeschooling. He will be going into 6th grade next year. His father and I work opposite shifts, so we would be able to help him when it is needed.
Can I please have recommendations for programs that will engage him? He seems to have a knack for medical knowledge and a great memory; I would love to lean into that.
Also, do you find having a designated space for schoolwork is better than not?
