Shitty scheduling
So I came in to work today after being off yesterday, and I found out that there will only be two of us closing and the only other closer gets out at 7pm. My shift is from 5-9pm tomorrow and because a Manager changed my schedule to accommodate another coworker, I’ll have to be back in from 10-7pm the next day.
They did all of this yet they couldn’t be bothered to at least add in another closer for tomorrow. I will never understand the logic of whoever writes these damn schedules. Customers are always complaining about the Deli being closed early a lot, and rather than addressing the real issue of not staffing enough people, they’d rather blame the workers and then wonder why they can’t keep anybody.
I just hope tomorrow doesn’t suck too bad.
My mental health has already taken a nose dive over the past two weeks and I’m trying my damn hardest to keep it together. I have another job interview on Wednesday I’m hoping goes well. That’s all.
