Hello,

I've started this hobby on a low income (I know, right?) and have been buying materials to learn in small quantities. So far, I've used three of the UK's notable suppliers and the only one that gives free 1ml samples is 'theperfumerspopupshop.co.uk. I find these little freebies invaluable as after 10% dilution, I've got enough to learn with. Often some that I would not be initially researching.

I'm thinking of purchasing from further afield next time.

Do you know of any other suppliers that do this?

I'm in the process of making dilutions and olfactory training. Some ACs i'm unable to pick up on, like Ambroxan Super, IES but one in particular is so strong that just from opening the bottle, I'm left with an invisible cloud of fresh, green ivy in my room...It's still there now.

It's now kept in a thick plastic ziploc bag in a fairly large cupboard with all my other materials (the only storage available to me). It's still shouting loud!

I'm concerned that it may contaminate other materials (all polycone caps). I can buy small aluminium 40ml containers with screw lids and silicone seals, but would they work?

How do you store loud mats? Any tips?
