I received a ticket driving in Upstate NY last spring with a Nova Scotia license. I know I have points on my file in New York, but the points did not transfer to Nova Scotia since New York does not share violation data with them. I have since moved to Ontario and gotten an Ontario license, which also does not have points on it, since they were not on my Nova Scotia license; however, I may be moving to New York next year. Does anybody know if the points will still be associated with me even though I no longer have the Nova Scotia license? I'm not sure if they identify you based only on your license number, or if they would also search for my name/DOB.
