[META] What is the solution for artists if AI takes jobs?
At this point we've all been seeing how AI could replace and is actively replacing artists especially graphics designers and illustrators. As an art student stepping into freelancing in very much worried about how to adapt to this? I'm a multimedia major wanting to specialise in game art and design and my current strengths are especially illustrations. There is alot of moral support but realistically speaking 60-80% of graphic design and illustrator jobs are being replaced by AI.
Now the question is how can we survive this change? What are the ways can we adapt and have a stable career with out giving up on the skills we possess?
