Hi

I'm a Colombian student doing sophmore year. I'll graduate in 2 years but I can't help but think about my college and professional future.

You see, I want to work as a creative director and an actress, in the artistic and entertainment industry basically. But Colombia is not the best suited place for professions like that, so I'm planning to study and work abroad.

My main country options are Canada and Germany: Canada has great film industry, good life quality, a very good international recognition. But the education and living cost is quite expensive. Germany, on the other hand, is a really amazing country to live in, the education is basically free and the design industry is really strong and thriving, though is a lot more far away, I'll have to learn the language and the film industry is quite weak (globally speaking). These are all basic facts that I looked for tho, I could be wrong.

Also, my top college options are:

Canada: OCAD U, Emily Carr University of Art+Design

Germany: Berlin University of the Arts (UDK), Bauhaus-Universität Weimar,

I've considered studying in Germany and then go to Canada for more global oportunities in both film and design, but I don't know.

Anyway, I need advice, I don't know which one could be the best choice for me and what I want. I'm so indecisive and it makes me even more anxious, but idk... Any german or canadian locals or students could help me with this by sharing your experiences, I would really appreciate that.
