With all the PSLF back and forth and it most likely getting scrapped, I’m considering the GI bill to cover federal student loans instead.

Mid 30’s, masters degree, lgbt, former federal employee short a few years of credit to qualify for PSLF, current local government employee.

Would it be worth it to join the military? If so, what branch? I’m thinking navy for some reason. I’m in Cali so I know there’s a big navy presence here.

On my momma I’m not letting the cancellation of the PSLF program to screw me over after doing my part with public service.

No military history in my family so I’d be the first.
