Mains disconnection and unhook quote - is it reasonable?

Our mains are attached to a rotten fascia board. Powercor kindly came out and issued a defect notice so that we can get them back to disconnect free of charge.

We now need an electrician to coordinate this visit and attend to disconnect the mains box and unhook the point for the tradie to replace the fascia and then reconnect etc.

We have one quote so far but the text quote from the sparky was long and full of things that were irrelevant following our discussion (regarding powercor) which leads me to be uncertain of their understanding of the scope of works.

Their quote to do the disconnect/reconnect is around the $1k mark.

Does this sound normal? We are struggling to get anyone in the time we can coordinate with the tradie but first thought was that this was quite high.

Location Melbourne, Western burbs.

Caninet maker

I just got a quote for a small bathroom and laundry reno. I am looking at Laminex AbsoluteGrain for the cabinets ?only need 3 - one for bathroom, 2 for laundry). Where can I find someone who will make (and install the laundry ones)?

And where do i get the stone (style, no silica) benchtops for both bathroom vanity and laundry?

Edit to add: Based in Melbourne (western burbs)

We have just bought a house and noticed this fascia board is about the break away. But, as you can see the electricity is bolted to it. Who do we call to fix the fascia safely?

Edit to add: would it be the electricity provider? We are melbourne so guessing powercor
