3 years of left hip pain. MRI shows CAM impingement + small labral tear.

I limp ~40–50% of days, and ~80% of the time I feel it when walking. I work an office job yet still feel it.

Doctor says it’s “not a big deal” and doesn’t recommend surgery — just adjust activity. But it’s not improving (4 MRIs so far).

Should I push for surgery or get another opinion? Anyone had surgery for this — did it actually help or make things worse?
