Hey everyone,
I recently found this event at Morskaya / Sevkabel Port and it looks really interesting. I’ll be in Moscow from May 24–28 and then in Saint Petersburg from May 28–June 1.
I’m especially looking for:
open-air parties
electronic music events
concerts
local festivals
art/cultural spaces similar to Sevkabel Port
anything with a good local atmosphere
Do you have any recommendations for events, venues, or places I should check during those dates?
It’ll be my first time visiting both cities, so I’d appreciate any suggestions.

I’ll be in Saint Petersburg between May 28 and June 1, and I’m thinking about renting a bicycle to explore the city and see more places during the day.

Is the city generally good for cycling? Are there enough bike lanes or safe streets for riding around as a tourist? Also, are there any reliable local bike rental services you would recommend? I’d prefer a decent-quality bike rather than the cheapest option.

I’d also appreciate any advice about areas that are good (or bad) for cycling, traffic situations, weather considerations, or anything else I should know before renting a bike there.

Here is what I am looking for:

• Food: Where are the absolute must-eat places? I'm looking for delicious food, whether it's traditional cuisine or great modern spots.
• Nightlife: I am from Istanbul, and I know from experience that to find the actually good, reasonably priced clubs that aren't tourist traps, you really need local advice. I assume it's the exact same in Moscow! Can you recommend some good, laid-back nightclubs or bars? I want to avoid overly pretentious, stiff, or "face-control-heavy" places. I'm just looking for good music (I really enjoy a good techno party!), good drinks, and chill vibes.
  • A quick question for the locals: Do foreigners typically experience any issues in Moscow's nightlife? Also, is it mandatory to have a female companion to get past the bouncers, or is it generally fine to enter solo or with male friends?
