I love a good “fighting my way back” story. For movies things like Enough or the Rocky movies etc. One of my faves is Parker’s Cold Service (Hawk is almost killed and has to rehab back to fighting shape). But I can’t find novels of women going through that physical heroes journey outside fantasy. Halp!
