PsA and pregnancy.
36 years old apparently have had psoriasis all my life but was diagnosed with pustular psoriasis, psoriatic arthritis due to spinal arthritis and fibromyalgia on top of that, though I think the fibro int really there it's the psoriasis and overlapping symptoms. Anyways. I am 11 weeks pregnant and the body pain is killing me. My flares have not eased and I honestly don't expect them too because skin damage can cause a flare and I have an insulin pump and a continuous glucose monitor. I soak so much to ease the pain I might be using more water than a data center. Not too hot because of the baby on board, it helps a lot, but I can't just camp out in the tub for the next 6-7 months. Anyone else with joint and muscle pains have any suggestions? Can't do nsaids I'm allergic plus adverse indications during pregnancy, I am not coming off my gabapentin because my seizures will increase and neuropathy pain on top of this distinct and different pain that the gabapentin doesn't work for, is not an option, staying on my cymbalta also as the benefits out weigh unknown risk with those two meds. They took me off my beta blocker for tremors, my nightmare medication, the lasik, and blood pressure medication. Started me on a safer blood pressure and prenatal. Not sure if any of the info is of any help at all. This is my third viable pregnancy, my other two kiddos are 15 and 8. This was not planned but a blessing none the less. I am a medical marijuana user, my ob office is big on me stopping that. I smoked with my other two kids it was the only thing that helped with nausea. Now it helps me ignore the pains. Moving in a couple of weeks and will have to get new doctors all around, but I hurt so much. I am open to suggestions or similar experiences where for love of all that's good it got better?
