A life with Newton… Most of the time, people talk about the fun and heartwarming parts of having a dog. But today, you get this quickly snapped photo after I was woken up at 4:27 AM by a thud landing squarely on my chest.

It turned out that Newton had decided to start his day with a little game of “fly hunting” and figured I would make a perfect launch pad to reach greater heights.

I may love him dearly, but in that particular moment, I definitely had a few less-than-kind thoughts about him. 🐶❤️

Today Newton got to try the “cage” and go on a bike ride with me. In the beginning he was scared, but after a rest at the playground he was happy to get back in. We will do more bike rides in the coming week.
