I made a post yesterday about making serious friendships for people over 30 and it was amazing to see a lot of people replying positively and wanting to meet.

I’m currently traveling but I really don’t want to lose the momentum of all the people who replied and I’m definitely serious about rebuilding my social circle.

I’ve created a discord group for PuneMeetupsOver30 with the intention of talking to people and hopefully it’ll:

1. Help plan meetups faster than individual posts or DM
2. Better for spontaneous plans
3. Benefits bakchodi based bond building

Hello everyone,

I am 32 and I just moved back to Pune after more than half a decade of being away. The social circle I had back then has eroded away - some people have moved away, others are busy with their family.

Anyone here who has managed to make friends you met in your 30s that you still regularly hangout with, any tips?

For me, a serious friendship is more about hanging out every so often, making plans and discussing life over beer or chai.

Edit: Yall, I’m traveling for the next few weeks but I’m definitely down to do a meetup sometime in 1st or 2nd week of June. Very happy to see so much interest tbh
