I've been trying to find ways to get people to be more physically active and stop sitting all day
I think for many of us, we need some kind of trigger that helps remind us and forces us to move. I came up with this idea to use our phone addictions to be that trigger. So I built this app called MoveMore that replaces doom scrolling with a productive exercise habit.
How it works:
- Block apps: Choose addicting apps you want to use less.
- Exercise to unlock: When you try to open them, it will tell you to exercise: jumping jacks, squats, and punches. You earn minutes for every rep.
- Interruptions to stop doomscrolling: When you’re time runs out, it will interrupt you and stop you from doom scrolling. You'll be reminded to exercise again or stop scrolling. Either way, it’s a win.

What do people think of the app? Does this seem useful to people or does it just sound clever?
