Hey everyone,
I’ve been working on a football prediction game for the 2026 tournament.
The main idea is a bit different from the usual “1 point for correct winner, 3 points for exact score” format. Instead, predictions are scored using odds-style values, so picking a heavy favorite gives fewer points than correctly backing an underdog.
I’m trying to figure out whether this makes the game more interesting or if it risks making the scoring feel too complicated.
The basic setup is:
- Predict match outcomes/scores
- Get points based on calculated odds
- Create private leagues with friends
- Keep it free to use
I’d really appreciate feedback on the concept, especially from people who play prediction games during tournaments.
Does odds-based scoring sound more fun than standard scoring, or would you prefer something simpler?
