Networking advice

I’ll be joining my final year this September pursuing BBIT at KCA, and networking is where my main focus is. So far, nimejifunza a lot through Packet Tracer, basic router configs, and crimping with generic tools that I saved up and bought from Jumia. But I really want real hands-on practical skills badala ya kungoja attachment or after uni cause without connections, it’s easy to get stuck doing basic IT support (troubleshooting PCs na ku-setup projectors kwa meetings).

If anyone can mentor me or knows a place where I can gain practical skills, I’d really appreciate it. Hata bila pay transport fare is enough(if possible). Also, if anyone ako na a spare working PC or switch yenye hatumii, I’d appreciate a donation (or sell it to me at a student-friendly price though itabidi I save pocket money for 2 months) ndio niweke up my own home server for practice.

NB: I plan on doing my CCNA in my final semester hapo Jan at KU ndio nigraduate with both the degree and the cert.

My goal right now isn't rushing to find a job just to pay bills, but mastering what I’m passionate about. I’m a firm believer that if one takes time and put in the real work, goals will naturally be achieved. One akitafuta job hurriedly without solid skills for today’s market, atabaki stuck in survival mode. I’m ready to put in the work even if it takes an entire year or more to properly grasp the craft and naturally adapt to the ever growing tech.

Any leads, advice, or connections nitaapreciate
