Mom in end stage dementia, now brain tumors
4-5 years ago, she started changing. Eventually diagnosed with frontal lobe with some vascular. She's in end stage now in assisted living. No control over bowels, etc. She can eat and talk but most is nonsensical. She started hospice a month ago. She fell and hospital found tumors on her skull. Dr thinks she most likely has cancer somewhere and it has spread to her brain. Two weeks later and the rumors are visible from the outside. No seizure. Pretty big. We are forgoing oncology visits so this is all the info we will get.
I have see idea what to expect time wise. None. This is extremely hard.
Also, my sister who has been absent for years and is a nurse thinks this was lymphoma and not only did my mom never have dementia, I let her die of treatable cancer. If anyone knows about lymphoma and could give insight, it would be appreciated.
Thank you.
