Is my job in jeopardy or am I being paranoid?
To be vague but to the point. I’ve been in my position for nearly 3 years. I feel like I do a great job. The last 2 annual reviews were nearly to the day one year apart for the self evaluations. This year it’s been nearly 2 weeks since I would have expected them. I messaged one of my former co workers now a manager about it and he ignored it. I then messaged both my direct managers and neither of them responded even though they were online (we have multiple locations and a hybrid model). Additionally, as I do every May, I put in my pto requests for the remainder of the year which goes to my direct manager. He has always approved the days right away but nothing done so far. That alone wouldn’t be a concern as nothing is requested until July but with the clear brush off of my simple question about performance reviews is giving me a bad feeling in my gut. Could these be signs they are preparing to let me go? Or am I overthinking this situation? What should I do? The only other item to note my employer has acquired several other firms since our last review which I don’t know would play a factor.
