Places to Live (originally from Houston)
Hi guys, I was looking to get some insight as I’m going to be moving into the greater Atlanta area soon.
I was recently offered a job in Covington, Georgia as an engineer, but would like to stay in an area inside of Atlanta or at least a little bit closer to the city. I don’t mind creating a commute for myself if it means having more of a “city” vibe at home.
Does anybody have any advice or input on certain areas in Atlanta for a young engineer/professional? The salary is pretty decent. I would prefer somewhere walkable with some nice things nearby (originally from Houston so the walkable part is a rare case for us).
Also since I’m from Houston, if you have experience living there in the past and could compare some areas of ATL vs. H-Town, that would help me get a better understanding of the area.
