For context, I’ve hit 2100 on chess.com and some of my lower rated friends are able to pretty easily say/hear things like go knight f6 and instantly understand which square it has to go to. I, however, end up taking like 3 seconds to figure out what’s going on. Also, when people post the full pgn notations, can yall actually visualize most if not all of the game? Am I a failure beyond basic pattern recognition and opening line memorization or id there something I should be doing differently? I don’t know anymore and I’m too afraid to mention it to my friends so I’m asking here.
