I-485 Expedite Request
Hello all!
Has anyone had experience on expedite requests based on Government Interest?
Unfortunately my husband requested a renewal for his DACA many months ago and it is still processing, and we also don’t have an EAD under the 485 because….that is still processing. This is the first time he will be out of any status since he was a child
We had our interview in September ‘25 in the Baltimore FO, and the I-130 approved
Now he is going to lose his job however his job wrote him a letter to submit on how he is essential with public safety. He’s a civil engineer that does emergency planning, response, and structural safety for the state highways, primarily in bridges. He’s an essential employee and they would hate to see him go.
My uncertainty is as to whether or not it is convincing enough, and curious to know what individuals have been denied trying to go this avenue.
