Dbrand or Mobapad HD?

Hello,

Dbrand or Mobapad HD ?

Just to clarify, I already own the NYXI Hyperion 3, but I really don’t like it at all. The plastic quality doesn’t feel good to me, the D-pad is just awful, and don’t even get me started on the vibrations. 😅

I also already have the Savage Raven grips, but they don’t really work for me either, as I still experience hand pain when using them.

And I’m not interested in Satisfye, Nitro Deck, or similar bulky grips/controllers. That kind of design just doesn’t suit me.

One more thing regarding the Mobapad : I’m guessing they’ll eventually release a Pro model, but if that’s still a few months away, it would probably be too long for me to wait, since I’m already experiencing pain when I play.

I think the main issue is that the standard Joy-Con simply aren’t comfortable enough for me. I feel like I’d be much better off with properly designed, ergonomic Joy-Con, because I don’t have this problem when I play with a regular controller.

So that’s why I’m trying to find a comfortable Joy-Con solution now rather than waiting for a potential Pro mode

Thanks 🥹🙏🏻

MOBAPAD M12 HD vs M12 S — which one would you recommend?

Hi everyone!

I’m trying to decide between the M12 HD and M12 S for Switch 2, and I’d love to hear from people who have used either (or both).

I really care about good rumble, but I don’t necessarily need HD Rumble. A good standard rumble is perfectly fine for me. I currently have the NYXI Hyperion 3, and the rumble is honestly awful, so I definitely don’t want a repeat of that. 😂

The M12 HD is tempting because of the HD Rumble and NFC, but I’m a little worried about the fact that it uses the Switch 1 protocol, while the M12 S uses the native Switch 2 protocol.

So my main questions are:

- Is the M12 S rumble actually good?
- Is the HD Rumble on the M12 HD noticeably better?
- Does the M12 HD’s Switch 1 protocol cause any real limitations on Switch 2 (gyro, compatibility, future updates, etc.)?
- If you had to choose one today, which would you pick and why?

Basically, I’m trying to figure out whether the better rumble on the HD is worth the older protocol, or whether the M12 S is the safer choice for Switch 2.

Thanks! 🙏

Persona 4 Golden

I’d really like to hear your opinion because I’m genuinely torn.
I’m a huge supporter of physical games, and I almost always buy my games on disc or cartridge. Right now, I’d love to play Persona 4 Golden after finishing Persona 3 Reload, but the problem is that the physical Switch version has become incredibly rare. On Vinted, it’s selling for around €88, which feels like a lot for a game that’s already several years old.
On the other hand, the digital version is currently on sale for €9.99 on the eShop. Money is a bit tight for me at the moment, so it’s hard to ignore such a huge price difference. At the same time, it really bothers me to give up on owning a physical copy, since collecting physical games is something I care about a lot.
So, what would you do if you were in my shoes? Would you wait and hope to find a physical copy at a better price, bite the bullet and pay €88 anyway, or make an exception and buy the digital version for €9.99?
I’d genuinely love to hear your reasoning, because I can’t make up my mind.
