Hello. This Is my sarracenia that I've had for over a year. It's always been fine: It passed dormancy in the winter, grew a lot during spring and survived summer's heat (the hot weather also burnt a lot of pitchers but It survived just fine). Today I noticed some brown marks as you can see in the pictures. Almost scaly -like things that aren't part of the plant and they seem to be attached to the pitchers without moving. I've seen parasites like the mealybugs (and managed to remove them) on my VFT but I've never seen anything like these before. Are those also parasites? Can I remove with a Q tip dipped in alchool like I did with the cochineals that were infesting my VFT? Also what do I do if they get on the rhizome?
