I rescued her and she threatens me with those murder mitts.

Her left eye is still weird but she’s super cuddly and demanding now, climbs the bars of her cell and cries until someone picks her up at night. She’s off to the vets tomorrow for a check up and to hopefully get vaxxed and microchipped if she’s big enough.

The kitten I rescued from my landfill last week has settled in amazingly well. Other than a bung eye and eye ointment she’s doing well.

It’s winter where I am and super frosty this morning. Now that the sun is nearly on her and the room is warm she’s fighting to stay awake. Glad I caught her before it got even colder.

Pleased to say she’s eating, drinking, and toileting well. She purred for the first time last night and she’s nearly stopped trembling when I pick her up. I’ve ordered her some toys online (and she had a play with the one she’s got earlier). She’s also meowed at the dog.

Took two days to trap this illegally smol criminal. She was spotted by a colleague perched on top of her mum’s body on Tuesday afternoon. But she was caught, she’s been to the vets and is in pretty good health despite roughly two days alone.
