Victor Eriksson, speculation on his possible transfer in the coming days has cooled slightly after he started for Hammarby. I still wouldnt rule this transfer out, but it doesnt seem to be immediately impending.

Alfie Devine, it looks like Celtic are leading the chase foe the Spurs player but southampton are trying to poach the transfer now and are looking to bring him in on Loan. I suspect he wants a permenant switch so that puts Boro ahead of southampton.

Sebastien Berhalter, reports from Canada that a deal for him to join Boro has been agreed, he is still part of the US squad that faces Belgium soon and any deal is set to be announced on the conclusion of the US mens teams time in the world cup. He is currently on about £8k a week and has less than 6 months left on his contract, so hes likely to fit perfectly into Boro’s financial structure. His social media makes an interesting conclusion as he has apparently started to follow certain businesses on teesside. So it looks to be happening that we may be building a US focused team built around Morris.

Max Arfsten, same as above, it appears talks are progressing and if Berhalter also joins boro its likely we will have a triumverate of US players once the world cup journey for the US team has ended.

Training tops go on sale on Tuesday, its expected the new home shirt will go on sale by the back end of the week or by the 13th of July with previews expected early next week.

Rumours of 2 medicals on Friday, one at Rockcliffe and one in the US.

Kyle Jospeh, appears the stalling of the transfer was due to his medical records indicating he had suffered 2 ankle injuries in the last 12 months. Initially the reports were that he failed the medical on these grounds as Boro were unaware of the 2nd injury and were looking to see the progress of his recovery over the summer before sanctioning the deal. The latest rumours are that this issue has possibly been resolved between the 2 clubs and the deal may be back on now. Whether that means the financial terms have changed remains to be seen.

The lads are back at Rockcliffe and Tommy Conway is out of his support boot. There is a bright red training top doing the social media rounds that may become available soon on the club shop website. Kyle Joseph, his medical was yesterday and his transfer was expected to complete before yesterdays deadline so Hull avoided any PSR issues. However, there appears to be a problem possibly as he held an ankle injury late in last season. Its possible his injury is worse than thought and boro are wanting to renegotiate the fees involved. Hull were forced to sell a different player close to the deadline for £2.5m to avoid PSR issues. Its still expected the Joseph transfer will go through.

Alfie Devine, did not complete an end of loan transfer to Preston and so its expected he will move to Boro or Celtic, however Wolves seem to be showing an interest. Spurs are looking for £6m for the youngster which is in Boro’s price range as a replacement for Hackney, but reports from Preston is that he was offered a club record contract to join them in the region of £30-35k a week. A figure that high is out of Boro’s wage structure so would favour Wolves or Celtic. Whether that figure is true remains to be seen, I suspect that it isnt.

Stefan Bajcetic, reports this morning linked the Liverpool player with a loan move to Boro, however since this morning a few credible sources have poured cold water on the move.

Victor Eriksson, Boro may look to the Hammarby CB to replace Dael Fry if he leaves the club for West Ham. He is well known to Kim Hellberg and its thought a figure of £2m would be enough to secure his transfer.

The new Boro crest has been added to the Riverside Stadium on the West stand. It’s expected that several social media posts over the next few days are expected to stir up the excitement for the kit launch.

Kyle Joseph, Dom shaw has confirmed hull and boro are trying to work though the complication and Joseph will return to Hull until things are sorted. It seems there is something not right with the players medical history and the player did not pass his medical on a potential paperwork issue. Seems this transfer may take a few more days or a week to sort out, and is no longer guaranteed to happen.

Its thought the deal is an upfront fee of £16.5m, with appearance based uplifts of £5m and further addons based on england call ups and european football qualification for Everton. Whether there is a sell on fee/profit fee in the deal remains to be seen. This could be the first deal accepted and with Tonali, Anderson, Xhaka, Guiamares all moving around, its expected other clubs may come in for Hackney as well. It does seem Hackney has set his sights on playing under David Moyes at everton and he will probably sign for them by the end of the week.

Daniel Iverson, we have been linked with a move for Preston NE’s GK. statistically a better shot stopper than Sol Brynn so may be seen as an upgrade option to use in bigger games where more shots are expected, preferring Brynn for weaker opposition due his better distribution stats.

Update 18:00 Iverson now being ruled out by Boropolis and other sources.

Oliver Skipp, the leicester midfielder has caught boro’s interest but Dom Shaw and other sources have said boro have cooled their intent on signing the player as leicester want £15m for him. The boro message boards are filled with laughter on this one as most don’t even think hes worth £2m.

Kyle Joseph, Hull striker is expected to sign with Middlesbrough now within the next 24 hours and not Millwall as previously linked. Hull need to raise funds before the 30/6 and it is widely reported 2 departures are set to leave the club before the PSR deadline. The 2 players expected to be sold are Joseph and Pandur. Pandur going to Rangers and Joseph to Middlesbrough. Joseph had been linked with a £5m move to Millwall, but it seems Millwall couldnt get the deal over the line and Boro are expected to come to Hull’s aid to help them with their PSR issues and possibly pick up the striker on a cut price deal. Its expected to be in the region of £3m rising to £5m if boro get promoted. If Boro were to sign Joseph, this would be the end of game striker boro have been looking for that can he a bit of a handful with some scrappy goals, the rumour of a game finisher seems to be true and this was one of the targets. Laurent Tolaj, Plymouth striker, not sure what the source is on this one but seems to be getting some discussions ongoing on the message boards. He doesnt fit the perceived “vardy type” rumour thats been going around as he doesnt have blistering pace, but he does fit the Vardy profile of banging goals wherever hes played at every level of english football.
He won’t be cheap for a league one player as hes got 3 years left on his contract, and will cost the club at least £3-4m.

As I said a few days ago, Dieng or Diabate would fit in nicely and are both available on a free, Diabate being the less proven in a big league and more likely to fit into our wage structure. David Ozoh rumour seems to have had a little bit of cold water poured on it, with Dom shaw claiming hes not currently being looked at but dont rule it out.

Josh Mulligan, article in the daily mail linked him with a move to Boro or Saints. Almost instantly Dom Shaw shot it down indicating we had looked at bringing him in but financially it wouldnt work for us because clubs with parachute payments were likely to win his signature in particular west ham.

Alan Browne, Boropolis tweeted that Browne will not be rejoining boro which had a mixed reaction on the Fmttm and Oneboro forums.

Take it with a pinch of salt, but i’d love it if we signed Beralter or Arfsten. Some are thinking it ties in with the Latte Lath rumour, but i agree with what some opinions have said with regards to the fact we have a scout out there and surely they have identified someone other than a former boro player.

Seems Crystal Palace are about to up their offer for Hayden Hackney with potentially David Ozoh going to boro as part of the deal.

The lads in the last year of his contract with 2 solid spells at derby. He’s a bit of a unit at 6ft 3 and is a bit of a ball winner.

Comparing the rumours around Evertons bid with Harrison Armstrong possibly going to Boro as part of the deal who is also a Defensive CM that fits the ball winning midfielder role, it does feel like this might be what Boro are looking for hence why Armstrong and Ozoh are being linked.

Its likely Armstrong is a loan deal offer, whereas Ozoh may be a permenant switch.

What this means for Kante who fits that role as well remains to be seen.

I personally think Ozoh is a better fit than Armstrong, and financially makes more sense for the club as we may be able to pick him up for less than £2m even if Hackney doesnt get sold to Palace.
