Spent the last month testing AI agents to handle our store's daily tasks. Anyone else doing this?

Hey all,

wanted to share how my last month went: I've been setting up AI agents to handle the boring, repetitive tasks that come with running our store (and I'm guessing everyone's). I'd love to know if anyone here is already working on this, and to swap feedback and tips.

Quick context: I run a fitness apparel and accessories store with two co-founders. We do a few thousand orders a month and it's still just the three of us, so time is always short. At some point I started wondering how much of our day was going into repetitive, low-value stuff, and I started messing around with GrokBot.

Right now I've got three agents running. The support one reads our emails, sorts them by topic, checks in Shopify whether the person actually has an order, and drafts a reply. I still review and send everything myself, but honestly I barely edit them anymore. The shipping one started out just printing labels, and now it also fulfills our TikTok Shop orders, which used to eat 20-30 minutes a day by hand. The third one sends us an inventory report every Monday telling us what to reorder and when.

Now I'm trying to build one that acts as our CFO, with a weekly report on the numbers and how the business is doing financially.

Big caveat: I can't code. It took me a few full days, but I had Claude walk me through everything step by step, from figuring out which agents were worth building to writing the instructions and hooking up the APIs.

Is anyone doing something similar? I'm especially curious which tasks you've automated, and whether you have any tricks or approaches you use when setting up your agents.
