Stay with me here but hypothetically let's say that after Kung Fu Panda 3 they made a 4th movie. OBSURD I KNOW, but if they did what would you have wanted it to be about? Following on after the great finale of 3 would be very tricky though so I understand why they never did it and left it at that forever.
I am aware that none of these movies are even remotely similar to eachother but if you can think of something I might like to watch please leave it below.
I know this will have been asked loads but I recently watched them all back to back and I am curious what others think.
HTTYD 2 (9/10): I personally adore this movie and get why it is a fan favorite, I have one issue with it and the rest is perfect. For me, until the ending it doesn't really feel like a movie about Hiccup AND Toothless. He is there obviously but Toothless almost just feels like Hiccups awesome dog until Stoik dies, after that Toothless is great in the movie. But in 1 and 3 I feel like Hiccup and Toothless are equal parts the protagonists of the movie if that makes any sense. If you disagree with that I do get it though, HTTYD 2 is incredible.
HTTYD (THW) 10/10: People seem to hate this movie here so please don't crucify me. I just think its great, animation is beautiful of course and I really REALLY like the ending. People say the ending clashes with the message of 1 and 2 but I think it actually works incredibly well in tandem with those, especially two. Despite the fact Berk keeps winning against these outside enemy forces who are attacking the dragons, keeping them is placing them in more danger. People will keep coming and they will probably win again, but who is saying that next time they will all survive? It shouldn't be a risk they have to take.
HTTYD 10/10: This is the best film ever made in my opinion. It has been that for so long and will never change. Incredible story, all the arcs are great and Toothless and Hiccup feel like they are both INCREDIBLY important. You couldn't replace Toothless with any other dragon in this movie, whereas in 2 (unless i'm forgetting anything important) I feel like until Toothless kills Stoik, Hiccup could've been riding any dragon and it wouldn't have impacted the story aside from having a few less cute moments with Valka.
