As the title states… are you really making 3x the rent? I’m applying to a couple places and a lot of them require 3x the rent (I do not make that much lol BUT i can afford it) i don’t have as much expenses as the “average person” — no pets, no car, no student loans. I feel like i can afford the rent just fine without needing to make 3x the rent. Is this just wishful thinking?

Also, if anyone knows tips and tricks to bypass the 3x rent rule i’m all ears 👀

Okay so i’m moving in August. I feel like i’ve done so much research i could lose my mind but at the same time it seems like i haven’t done enough.

Can someone please give me their honest opinion on these 3 neighborhoods — South Loop, Bronzeville, Hyde Park?

Also I was able to find a place out in Bronzeville great price and sq… but is the area safe? It’s on S Saint Lawrence Ave
