Hi I love most genres of books but I am looking for a depressing love story (no spoilers) that isn't slow paced and not like binding 13 as I didn't enjoy reading binding 13.

Hi!! I love reading and really enjoy fun girly romance novels but don't enjoy reading shut! I want some recs- they can be anything from YA to classics just please make sure the books also don't have a 2 dimensional female lead (similar to the girl who's name I forgot in A farewell to arms by Earnest Hemingway)

and I haven't read many others
