Since my childhood the sounds of Stevie Nicks and Fleetwood Mac have been an intrinsic part of my life. Whatever mood I am in there is always a song to match it or change it.
Stevie's poetic lyrics, that follow their own rules for writing, always seem to find their way into my fictional worlds and everything I write. They have given me the inspiration to follow a haunting, lyrical style of my own. If it gives any reader a small part of what Stevie leaves with so many I would be grateful and content 🙏🏽
I think that is why I wrote Fleeing Fellwood - my own interpretation of the magical, mesmerising Silver Springs, because the words and feelings of some songs will never leave me and linger long after they have been listened to.
