To those who love going to the gym, how do you manage
Hello everyone, I've been attracted to endurance sport for quite a long time. Being in a great sport dynamic rn, I really want to try triathlon again, very progressively. I am quite used to training ~9-10 times (15-20 hours) a week, going to the gym 6 Times and the rest is running/cycling, no swimming yet, but I'd like to work on this skill.
I think I'm already pretty lucky to be able to train so much. I love going to the gym that much, I am about 90kg for over 1m85, and I entend to stay pretty like this and preserve this muscular mass which means remain very consistent regarding gym sessions, I dont want to go below 5 sessions a week.
If i get into triathlon, I know me, I need to progress to remain motivated and so I need to train, it's no magic. Are there people doing something similar with decent results ? How do you set your objectives ? How do you organise training in general, not necessarly when you are close to your main objective of the year ? I'm kind of clueless when it comes to such a sport actually so if anyone wants to share their expérience, that'd be nice !
