The Crowned Republic of Dominica officially declares full unilateral independence from The United States of America.
Note: this is an abridged version of the original document. This has been done due to the considerable length of the original document however it remains as the official version of the document. We, the Provisional Government, are in the process of creating a national constitution and hope to ratify and release it to the international community with in the week. Abridged Unilateral Declaration of Independence of the Provisional Government of the Crowned Republic of Dominica
On the 2nd of August 2026 the Provisional Government of the Crowned Republic of Dominica officially declares the establishment a self-governing nation based on the principles of faith, unity, duty and service to the common good.
The Provisional Government intends to establish a distinct national identity, a set of institutions, and a legal system by means of the creation of a permanent constitution and creation of a government aimed at promoting the welfare, prosperity, and unity of its citizens.
The Crowned Republic of Dominica aims to create a social and economic system based on cooperation, a sense of responsibility, and the idea that political and economic institutions should serve the entire community and not merely individual interests. This is set out in the doctrine of Integral Corporatism, which seeks to bring together social responsibility, economic cooperation, and national unity into a consistent political philosophy.
The Provisional Government considers it important to have faith, to respect tradition, to encourage civic responsibility and to preserve the cultural and moral values involved in creating a stable and unified society. The State must function as a service to the common good and be responsible for protecting its citizens, for keeping order, and for ensuring the continued development of the nation.
The United States and its people are not seen as enemies by the Crowned Republic of Dominica; the statement is one which expresses the nation's identity and its commitment to self-determination and not an act of hostility. The Provisional Government aims at maintaining peaceful relations with all peoples and nations.
The Provisional Government also reasserts its dedication to defending the people of Dominica and to preserving the institutions which have been set up by this declaration.
By signing this document, the Provisional Government reasserts its dedication to the creation of the Crowned Republic of Dominica and to the establishment of a permanent constitutional system.
