[Guide] How to manipulate your matchmaking in the new tournament to get newbies as your opponents

So, I hear you guys talking about how the new tournaments and how it's impossible to SP drop and beat down on newbies, mainly on the YT and FB communities. It's seen some traction on Reddit and Discord as well, so, in the interest of the public, I, Sir Squaddus Powerus Droppericcus III, will guide you through the procedure used by my long line of illustrious ancestors to manipulate matchmaking in Mech Arena, especially in Tournaments.

  1. Enable a VPN - this will prevent Plarium from detecting and fixing your dastardly clever plan. It is imperative that you do this, otherwise they might fix this 'exploit'.

  2. Open Mech Arena, and DO NOT claim the daily rewards. If you do this, Plarium will know that you, an esteemed SP dropper, have logged in,and it might fix your matchmaking. Stealth is essential, give the enemy no information or warning before you strike.

  3. Remove all the mechs in your hangar, and equip the single strongest mech you have, along with the single strongest weapon you have. Fill in the rest with common and uncommon rank 1 and 2 mechs and weapons.

  4. Once step 3 is done, load into Control Point Clash quickmatch. As soon as the match starts, leave it and immediately load into a Tournament match. This will fool Plarium's matchmaking algorithm into thinking you're doing two matches at once and confuse it, giving you the opportunity to resume your nefarious plans.

  5. Congratulations! You have successfully SP dropped in Tournaments. Now go on champ, show them newbies what you got, and beat em up. That'll show 'em!

Once you finish, this is the most important step: >!Go fuck yourself!<.

That's it folks! Hope this guide helps you out, and I wish you all the best in beating up them newbies. Please let me know how it works out for you and how many newbies you've managed to beat today! Sir Squaddus Powerus Droppericcus III shall now take your leave, toodle-oo!
