There's no way you can look at the PhD dissertations coming out of a university's physics department alongside those coming out of their whatever-studies departments and say that the mental robustness of the two authors is the same.
It's silly that someone can write a dissertation on the "lived experience" of some group of people and try to shoehorn it into some oppression narrative while another person can spend years developing an experimental apparatus, performing tests and then using the data to test a hypothesis and then both end up with a PhD after their name.
One is doing real discovery. The other is doing creative writing exercises.

But my main complaint is that she conducted a study using taxpayer money, got a result she didn't like, and then decided to withhold publication because she felt the results would he "weaponized" against her clear political agenda.
For that, she should have been sued and all that money should have been clawed back from her program.
It should also jeopardize her ability to get future government funding.
When you use taxpayer funds to conduct your research you shouldn't get to choose what or what not to release. The public owns the results.
